Today marks an exciting milestone for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as it opens its tenth charity shop, right in the heart of Worcester. Located in Friary Walk, the new store welcomed a crowd of eager shoppers looking to pick up a bargain while supporting a lifesaving cause.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is delighted to announce that its first Worcestershire based shop in Friary Walk, Worcester, formerly known as Crowngate, will open on Friday 28th February at 10.00 am.

Worcester is a city rich in history, culture, and community spirit. One of the best ways to experience this is by visiting the many markets that take place throughout the year. These markets not only bring life to the city’s streets but also provide vital support to small local businesses, artisans, and independent traders.

The Hive hosts a diverse range of engaging children and family events throughout the week, designed to spark creativity, encourage learning, and provide opportunities for social interaction. From interactive storytelling and hands-on crafts to music-filled sessions and imaginative play, these activities cater to different age groups and interests, ensuring that every child can participate in a fun and enriching experience.

Forty big penguin sculptures will form the free art trail – running from Monday, July 22 to Sunday, September 15 2024. Crowngate Shopping Centre is proud to be a presenting Partner and sponsor of 'Precious Penguin', created by artist, Hilary Sanderson.
